Step 1: Turn and sand your piece down to at least 400 grit
Step 2: Apply colour if you want to.
Step 3: Properly seal the piece using the Cellulose Sealer
Step 4: Lacquer the piece following the instructions on the cans. For a deeper gloss finish, apply 16 – 20 coats, lightly sanding between coats.
Step 5: When fully cured (at least overnight), use the Yorkshire Grit Original and Microfine products in line with their instructions
Step 6: (Optional) Use an automotive scratch remover for the best finish.
Step 7: Overcoat with Hampshire Sheen Microcrystalline Wax for fingerprint resistance.
Take your time when finishing lacquers and follow all instructions on the products for best results!
