 Cut a groove round the edge of a bowl 2 to 3mm deep;
 Using CA glue (this is best), put a drop in part of the groove;
 Carefully pour some sand onto the glue;
 Repeat until the groove is filled;
 Cut the inlay back using a carbide tool;
 Sand and finish as usual, taking care to remove the dust from any voids in the inlay.
