I am now a very much improved Bowl Turner

I thought I was an ‘OK’ turner until I came on the bowl turning course. I then found out the correct, and safe, way to turn a bowl. The course delivered by Martin was brilliant, he gave us so much of his knowledge and experience and every step he took us through were full of tips and a better way of turning. I thoroughly enjoyed the course and will be returning for a 1-1. Thanks Martin.

An excellent day and very good value

A very useful, instructive, informative day where we had excellent tuition, were shown how to handle a bowl gouge to make a cut and why we were doing it, so it begins to make sense. The skills demonstrated and then attempted by us were just what I wanted to know. I came away wanting to practise and get better at turning a bowl, as well as having much more idea about finishes. Inspirational! Would I recommend the course to others?- Yes.

    Imrover's Bowl Turning Course

I very much enjoyed this course despite the fact that I felt more of a beginner as, being a left hander, I had to master turning right handed, in addition to learning how to turn using a swept back gouge which is something I had previously avoided. However, Martin was very patient with me and through his expertise I managed to turn a nice Ash bowl. I would recommend this course to any woodturner. Thank you Martin.
